aristotle
Aristotle was born at Stagira in northern Greece.He was trained first in medicine, and then in 367 he was sent to Athens to study philosophy with Plato,at the age of seventeen.He spent twenty years of his life studying at the Academy.Aristotle opposed some of Plato's teachings.Then aristotle spent some time traveling, and possibly studying biology, in Asia Minor. It is said that Aristotle wrote 150 philosophical treatises.
